Firstly, this NLP book is currently out of print, which is a real shame, and it can command quite a high price on Ebay. If you have any interest in NLP and Hypnosis then you really have to beg, steal, or borrow a copy of this book. Written in Richards usual "Seminar turned into a book" style, "Transformations" is not the easiest read, and due to the hypnotic content you will often find that you drift in and out as you read and will not be able to remember what you have read, similar to many of Richards NLP books. This is a book you will want to read again, and again. Richard covers numerous hypnotic induction techniques, as well as many of Milton Erickson's Language Patterns. If you want to be Derren Brown and hypnotize people waiting for a train, then read this, followed by "The New Encyclopedia of Hypnosis". |
